Default Undetected infections can cause many psychiatric symptoms.

Here is a useful link outlining what 'the system' does not seem
willing to expose....

Undetected infections, ie parasites can cause a whole host of
symtpoms...

The spread across the brain seen in the UCLA MRI studies a few years ago
would be consistent with a pathogen based disease of the brain. If so,
whatever it is must be very hard to identify.

I read in an article a while back that schiz was by infection. That's
how the whole twin mystery transpired. Now they're saying cleavage in
cells? WTF? Isn't the internet great?

They have no fudging clue and will just say what ever the consumers will swallow
to get them to swallow the drugz.

I'm not sure what cleavage in cells might mean. I hadn't come across
that -until you just mentioned it.

Or cleaved proteins - somewhere though they talk about cleavage. I
was hoping they would have a photo that might be stimulating somehow
but they don't.
This cleaved protein theory is supposed to be the reason we're in this
support group.

Thanks for the link. I wonder what led them to this
Aph1B/C-gamma-secretase?

I wonder what happens if Aph1B/C-gamma-secretase is added directly to the
CSF of the brain?

In time, we will see if this pans out.

Imagine schizophrenia being cured by a nasal spray used 4 times a day....

Found this:

"Scientists hope the discovery could lead to new treatments for
schizophrenia, one of which could be drugs that act like the molecular
scissors."

That sounds cool - scissors.
A little spooky too.

The cleaved proteins involve particular folds and cuts when this
protein is being produced. If a protein is not shaped correctly, it
can not do its job properly, and so we're all stuck with
malfunctioning proteins. Unfortunately, all cells and receptors and
enzymes in our body consist of proteins, and so some of these things
are not forming correctly and are malfunctioning. This discovery gets
us all much closer to a cure. The cure is our finish line.

Silver and Gold are heavy metals that are harmless to people. But
silver in the wrong form can turn the skin blue.
But, the other heavy metals are poisonous, if taken internally,
and a little is absorbed through the skin. Every metal with an atomic
number higher than iron, atomic number 26, is called a "heavy metal".
Schizophrenic symptoms, that have been diagnosed schizophrenia,
are caused by every heavy metal except gold and silver.
For example, with copper poisoning, you get the wakening of the
brain beyond the normal 10%. The heavy metal joins chemically in the
nerve gaps and acts as a permanent neurotransmitter conducting a
perpetual transmission between the nerves.
The heavy metal, going everywhere, does the same thing with the
muscular nerves causing muscle cramps, spasms, and final muscular
failure, like the nerve poisons Sarin and BX. Heavy metals are used in
rat poison.
Most likely, many of those who have been diagnosed schizophrenic,
don't have the extra axons and dendrites of schizophrenia, but have
heavy metal poisoning, which can be cured by chelation treatment.
But, of course there are those with Shamans' Disease, which is
caused by scar tissue in the muscarinic nervous system. In an attempt to
hide this suggestive disease in the West, those with Shamans' Disease
have been tagged schizophrenic.

I suspect as they try to cleave the malformed proteins they will deform
normal proteins at the same time.
