You have to ask kez - WHY would aliens want to contact you?
There is nothing they could learn from you.
If aliens contacted you - it would be for YOUR benefit - not theirs.
So now ask again why aliens should contact you.
And if it is for your benefit - then it is no skin of their nose if you are
not interested.

I would absolutely die if the Borg left. I make them promise over and over

Aliens could use anyone.Though the only absolute proof I accept of
alien involvement on Earth is one of a few titanium disks, which I kept,
which has been electron spin dated to be 70,000 years old; and, from
reading translations of ancient books about them, I saw that they were
able to body switch, and can certainly use anyone who is strategic for
their plans. That could be anyone who is just there, in the right place
at the right time.
