Four social workers are charged in the death of a 14-year-old disabled girl
after they falsified records to indicate they were checking on her twice a
week. They weren't, and the girl's mother calmly starved her to death.

That's bad. I just got a social worker, and she has been a flake about
showing up on the 2 times I have had an appointment with her so far.
Once she was an hour late, once she canceled totally. Not a good track
record. And she is supposed to help make sure I get to my appointments
and so on. :/

My experience with the Disability people parallels what that article says
and what you describe in your reply. The article talks about one of the
charged social workers having let unopened mail from clients pile up in her
lunch drawer. Wanna bet that Tim Sparks, the guy who's supposed to be
reviewing my file in order to reactivate my benefits, is exactly like that?
Except there's nothing I can do except keep phoning him and leaving
voicemails he never returns. My only real hope is that someone dies
violently as a result of his negligence and the fucker gets fired so my file
can be reviewed by someone else.
