| | | why psychiatrists think we are Schizos when we in fact have a Mission from God Psychiatrists donīt know much about god. They believe god is something that
itīs in the mind. They have studied for years to become a doctor. Yet they
donīt know much about the soul. They only know what they have read. Thatīs
why they are spiritually LOW.
If a person is able to travel to another dimension by meditation the
psychiatrists thinks that the person has problems to face reality thatīs why
they think that person is no longer INTERESTED in reality and he is
experiencing psychosis. As a matter of fact what we experience by meditation
is the spirit world and higher dimensions of awareness. This is our real
HOME. And that world is where we belong. We should focus on the INSIDE, to
realise that the material world is just evil and in fact the material world
is not our real HOME. Why waste time in the material world, when we can
travel to another world by meditation. |

This is interesting, sometimes i find my symptoms enjoyable, sometimes they
cause discomfort, maybe
if we learn to view symptoms positively or at least accept them they might
dissapear? |

| | | Re: why psychiatrists think we are Schizos when we in fact have a Mission from God Hello John
I am the mother/caregiver of a son age 35, diagnosed with schizoprenia.
I read what you wrote below. He had a 'first episode/psychosis' at age 18,
spent some horrible time in the local general hospitals and then finally he
was released.
He threw the medication away, went to see a psychologist and found a
job...then decided to go back to school. He did and achieved a degree is
electronics. Then he got sick again.
When I noticed he was acting strangely, I called the local crisis line.
They put me in touch with a local community service called 'car 67' (a
policecar and psychiatric nurse) who came to the rescue. They took him
willingly to the local hospital where he improved overnight with the
anti-psychotic medication. He was almost his normal self within 24 hrs with
this medication.
That was 5 yrs ago.
Now he didnt keep in touch with local mental health services, so they
apparently closed his file. He wanders around talking to himself (as we
say) but in fact he is talking to people in the Zeta Nation :-) The only
time he comes back to reality is when he wants food, cigarettes not much
else.
His friends have abandoned him because there is no personal interaction.
He sleeps all day when I am at work and keeps me up all night chain
smoking...this has taken a toll on my health and sometimes I feel like the
end is near for me.
What does anyone suggest I do?
I've the police up to the house over the years, they say to me that my only
alternative is to 'evict' him and I say to them...I dont want him to become
a street person...they say oh he will live in a group home, i say no he wont
he will escape and come back here to his room and if i kick him out he will
keep trying to come back home...waste of time if you ask me
A mother in distress with nobody to talk to (not even imaginary friends!!)

Have you read Stanislov Grof? He believes mental illness is a
psychospiritual crisis.
I agree that psychiatrists are too down to earth and tend to dismiss any
spiritual experiences or beliefs as being psychotic. On the other hand,
people who get labelled psychotic often suffer a LOT and so do their loved
ones because they can't adapt to life in this world. As I see it, we're in
this world to live in it now, not in some other dimension. I once heard a
schizophrenic woman put it this way: "We have spiritual experiences that are
too difficult for us to handle." That may just sum it all up.
I agree with you that our true home must be elsewhere. This world seems more
like purgatory or hell!

You've been aweful tame lately.
HEATHER:
Send your son here! I'd like to hear more about Zeta nation, sounds
interesting! What do you know of the Zeta's (I've heard they can be
very tempermental.)
I'm only half kidding. This sounds like a real fundemantal "reality"
he has. I hope you have taken some interest in it. I am also very
interested in this "delusion." If it's a private matter, I understand.

If he does not wants medications there is little you can do.
Problem is that he needs meds as I read wjay you say, he is not
capable
to control himself.
Meds does not cure but drive into submission so
he will listen you.
It is really not important what is in his head, it is important
how he reacts to you and other people.
You can also try to convince him to talk to you about
his world. You should know him better.
I have impression that you don;t know him at all.

I don't think that's true.
It is attempting to remain commited to it's scientific roots.
I agree with you though, I think a holistic approach is better.
To deny the spiritual element of sz is just foolish, and attempts to
make fools out of us, for our beliefs.

Traveling is fun sometimes, but we gotta keep out feet on the floor.

Fuck you and your exclusive club.
Can't we create a world that address's the needs of everybody, and
tends to inclusion.
This "you live in my world, and I'll live in mine" is a great social
injustice.
EG.
I have my food, you don't, well don't bother me and stay the fuck away
from my McDonalds.
See my point.
I really don't care if you have a God or not, it has absolutly no
bearing on my life whatsoever. I don't force my God on anyone.
If they are curious, I'll share. You came here and challenge people
for believeing in God.
You don't want me to "drag you into my world." Then you grab me by the
scruff of the neck and try to drag me into yours.
Some famous guy said to treat others like you want to be treated, but
that dumb fucker believed in God.
