Default To all the "new" quitters...

Hi. I'm Nicole and I *was* a serial quitter. I tried time and time
again to quit smoking... always to no avail. I had to get my head and
my heart in the right place and I had to be *selfish*. I had to put my
quit first and everything else on the back burner for the time being.
It must have taken me... hm... it was about 2 1/2 years to finally get
it right and now I'm sitting here almost 7 years smoke free. Why am I
posting this? To give you faith. Quitting smoking *can* be done. Is it
easy? Hell no. I'm not going to lie to you. It's one of the hardest
things I've ever had to do. But it CAN be done... keep the faith and
pour your heart and soul into your quit. If anyone needs someone to
talk to or just to rant to, feel free to drop me an email at
freezingwi ATTT charter DOTTT net. I'll help if I can

Nicole
Quit date Feb. 7, 2001
(Now working on my sobriety... since 1/2/08)

Whoohooooo Nicole!! It's always good to see you dropping in. I remember
your trying and trying, and it was a huge inspiration to see you quit when I
was trying and trying.

Love this, what you wrote - every word!!

HI Nicole,
I missed your post but so pleased to catch up on Karen's.
It's so good to hear from you and know that you have well and truly got your
quit under control. I spoke to you several times in chat in my early days
and was glad of your example.
Do hope your current battle is equally successful. I see no reason why you
shouldn't score a double!
You take care of you,
