Default Almost 2 months

Hi all. Haven't posted in a while ( I hate typing), been doing lots
of reading this newsgroup though and everyones posts have been very
helpful.

Tomorrow night will be two months without those cancer sticks!! After
the first week or so everything has been good, no desire to smoke etc,
but the last week or so I have started having cravings more, and have
noticed I am very short tempered and have been feeling exhausted. Has
anyone felt this way a few months into a quit?

Hours, by avoiding the use of 719 nicotine delivery devices that would
have cost me $288.80.

No, but everyone is different (haven't heard that before, have ya?).
Just keep on plugging along and you'll get through this phase. You're
doing great!! Two months is terrific!

Chris, that is all part of the healing process. There are times where
it seems like you are going backwards, but that will change soon and
it will get better than ever. Keep on keeping on and doing what you
are doing to maintain your quit. Do allow yourself as much sleep as
possible as being tired is part of the healing process and the more
you can sleep the better it will be.

Now, sit back and enjoy as the Original Yodeling Gnomes are going to
be at your place tomorrow to sing songs of smobriety to help you
celebrate your M&Ms.

I wish you would hate typing a little less.
Maybe post once or twice a week.
It would help me, like it has tonite.
I'm right behind you.

Short tempered an exhausted? Chris, I was so short
tempered I made others exhausted as well. <grin> Is
very normal and will work itself out later. Thanks for
dropping us a line if you hate typing that much and
stay strong,
Robin.

Congratulations on reaching almost 2 months Chris! I personally did
not experience what you describe but I would not worry too much about
it, just keep your shield up (and swing your sword a few times) and
you will be just fine )

Oh yes! In my last quit I was quite surprised when strong craves and
insomnia hit me around the two month mark (if I remember
correctly). It felt quite unfair, as I was doing quite well I
thought. It passed, and I forgot it. Just like it will for you.

Stay strong.

Congrats on 2 months Free Chris!

Exhausted usually leads to short tempered, so more rest, lighten your
schedule a bit and *actively* look at ways to relax (even exercise is a
good way to relax) and de-stress.

I feel this way working nights and I've been quit for over 3 years so it
may not directly be related to the quit ... maybe just the
Change'O'Seasons® and Life In General.

Reward yourself too -- 2 months is a great milestone! You've saved
almost $300 so a nice dinner out or something special would maybe help.

Stay strong! You're doing great Chris!

Cheers,
Marvin

Hi Chris! 2 months is great! Everybody is different in their quits. I
just try and ignore anything negative in hopes it just goes away. Works
sometimes for me!
