Default almost 28 full days

Tomorrow morning around 11 a.m., I will have abstained from putting
smouldering leaves in a paper tube to my mouth and sucking in the
smoke.
(What an odd thing to do, to be sure! Can't think why I did it for so
long, now).
I'm now about 296 dollars better off, not having smoked 1120 cigarettes.
28 days ... hmmm, I may as well keep on doing without the things, or all
that time will have been struggled through for nothing.
I'll go another week and see how five weeks feels!
And - I believe that without the encouragement and help from those
inhere, I would probably have failed miserably in this momentous
life-altering attempt. But it would be awfully humiliating to have to
post an announcement that I'd bought and smoked two packets. Or fail to
post, and just slink off feeling like a sad failure.

Wow Ian -- 1120 NOT smoked! That's a nice number too.

Congrats!

Looking forward to 5 weeks.

Cheers,
Marvin

Well, the money saved is really good. But the feeling in your lungs
must be "super" good. Your lungs are saying "thank you, thank you,
thank you". Love yourself and keep the quit.
Hugs,
Pam

Instead of taking 18 puffs of smoke, Ian spoketh upon us:

Congratulations Ian! It takes great effort to make it through the
first month!

So true. Quitting would probably be possible without AS3, but surely
it wouldn't be as much fun!

Not exactly great fun! But now i'm starting into my second month I
think the desperate need for nicotine in the form of smoke is lessening
- they occur only 2 or 3 times a day now, and go away pretty quickly.
It's like a nasty demon popping up at intervals and trying to drag you
back down, but somehow who's not as tall or as strong as he was at
first. I'll be able to pick the little fellow up by the tail and swing
him around my head soon, laughing maniacally the while.

Oy veh - 32 days already!. Here comes five weeks.....

Ian,
You are doing great.
32 is big because you know now that you can do this.
Get it done, Ian.

Yep, I'm fairly confident now I can make t, although continual
watchfulness will be needed especially when I move to the retirement
place in June. The woman I saw here said smoking is allowed in the
grounds, so there may be people lighting cigarettes and offering me one
as wellll, out there in the sinful shrubbery.
