Default AS3 Virtual Cookbook

It's been very quiet around the AS3 Virtual Cookbook for too long. I'm
hoping to change that by adding a new recipe - Olive Cheese Puffs
under appetizers.

My mother made these for as long as I can remember. There were always
some in the freezer "just in case." My parents had frequent cocktail
parties and the olive puffs were always on the buffet. (Think mid
1960s with fully stocked open bar, matching containers for cigarettes
& lighters all over-yes, stink sticks were offered just like
appetizers-and a nice variety of finger food appetizers.)

The cookbook is here: http://as3cookbook.clintoniowa.us/ and Mom's
olive balls recipe is on the appetizer page.

Enjoy!! Now I'm off to make a huge batch for tomorrow's game.

Thanks for the reminder,AH, but my young relative is already on my

My young relative? An early 20s member of my very extended family.
She was raised with a very stable family life, but some stupid
(immature) choices made while a teenager have made her life since much
more difficult than she or her parents would ever have dreamed. She's
a good kid, working two jobs and taking college classes. Like the
fictional Mary Richards, she's going to make it after all. :-)

jaise? I have no idea who that is. She/he/it seems to have appeared
out of nowhere in the past few days. Perhaps the hard hearted
attitude has to do with nicotine withdrawal?

I'm sure she will. It sounds as though she's doing everything she can
to turn her life around. She was the type of person I loved having as
a client.

That's actually who I meant when I asked. My AS3 attendance has been
pretty pathetic recently so I thought I'd missed something. I'm
guessing this is someone like Mr Bastard who might have changed his
nom de computer.

I'd forgotten about Mr. Bastard, but you could be right. Time and
additional posts may tell.

Please enjoy your sunny warmth. It's far too cold here in Iowa and
the wind is enough to knock an elephant over. I'm SO ready for
flowers to start poking through the dirt!!!

It's not CB - he would have found a way to trip up because his head has
been punched too often.

I only see two posts by this person and none that I would consider to be
flammable. Maybe I missed something or maybe this news server filters
are awesome?

I agree that as far as I've read, this is only the second post from
Jaise and both were in posts that Leslie had started. While they are
not anti-social, the first was rather crude and I think the second one
snide. I wonder if this person is for real about quitting or looking
to stir up trouble.
