Woke up this morning craving like hell for a cigarette. Damn. got thru it
though ok. I needed a cup of coffee so I took only enough money with me to
7eleven to buy coffee. no chance of caving and buying smokes. Damn fucking
nicodemon just has to show his ass every so often doesent he? oh well,good
reminder that I am not home free. Yikes!!

Uh huh... the longer you're quit, the more you think it's safe. Each

There is a big difference between these cravings we get nowadays and
the early ones.
In the early days it felt like you were a tiny skinny kid and you were
harrased by school bullies twice your size.
Now it feels like a 9 y/o kid coming to you and aiming a kick at you.
And you just pull the damn brat by it's ear and maybe kick it's butt
in the general direction of it's parent's home.

time I kept thinking wow I'm under all this stress and I am not gonna
smoke NO WAY . I got passed it and am through the other side now. Keep

Hi Becky,

I havent yet had the balls to actuslly put the ciggerette down as you
did even for the day. I have been contemplating really hard to kick
the habit. See I have nicotine dependency with pyschological onset
and I can not stop craving a smoke after every mea, sex, stress or
leisure pleasure hell i want to light one up just talking about it. I
could really use some suggestions on how to quit.

Oh we are SO doing this!! Smoking never took away stress. It just seemed to
temporarily. whatever caused the stress was still there after the cigarette
was smoked. I think that the more we dont give in to smoking when stressed
the easier it will get in time.

yep.Busted lots of quits when it snuck up on me and my thinking got fucked
up. and I said fuck it I wanna smoke.and did.Im gonna hang onto this one

Hi Mrs Jones,
I know just how you feel. I have felt the same way.I just plain got tired of
smoking and all the crap that goes with it,and I was just ready to quit. I
lurked and read and posted here to help me become ready to quit. I had to
really want to quit,and to understand that there would be hard times when I
really wanted to smoke,and to be willing to stay strong and wait for the
urge to pass. I chose to use nicotine replacement ,the lozenge to quit. Then
I finished up the pack I had then quit. It takes motivation and
determination. You can do it if you really want to. This is a great place to
come to for support and encouragement. Im sure others will be along to offer
more sugestions for you. I hope to see more posts from ya.

Shit....isn't it amazing that the craves still come after so much time
not smoking....I am so grateful to hear that it's less and less for
you and since I'm folloiwing behind I have hope. I was surprised at
how difficult week 2 and 3 were. I do think about it less and

ass fucking crave. It was partially caused by the magic mushrooms we had
accidentally consumed at supper. Man, what a trip. I'd heard of taking it
up the tuba, bit it was just ridiculous. The piccolo player couldn't find
her piccolo for days........
