Default Christmas Greetings

It was Christmas Day in the workhouse;
The master shouted through the halls,
'Did you like your Christmas dinner?"
And the inmates shouted
..... well I just forget the rest right now.
It is my painful duty to announce that I have almost completed 39 days
of not breathing in smoke,
and - it's AWFUL!
But on the other hand, I don't cough much now, and I have not spent
about 400 dollars on the things.
Wonder if Mr. Hedges is feeling the pinch now he's lost my patronage?
Is Mr. Benson finding he can no longer afford the little luxuries he
enjoyed before April the First? Should I send them, anonymously of
course, a small sum, 1000 dollars maybe, to tide them over?
It is all very worrying and has driven me to drink.
we sailed on the good ship Venus:
By God you should have seen us
I really must stop posting when inebriated.... I could get banned off
the 'net.

Mr. Benson and Mr. Hedges can get on the dole as far as I'm
concerned...<G> If they can't find honest work, there are ditches to
be dug...

But 39 Days... That's amazing! Keep up the good work, Ian!

Of course not - it's the eleventh Commandment you know.
Keep taking the tablets, Moses!

I also try to grab attention by rattling the bars of my play pen while
shrieking loudly and throwing my rattle at the wall. I find this
usually brings a grownup running.

Oh come come young sir - have you no compassion in your heart for these
two poor old souls?

You must not be talking about AS3. I don't believe there are many
grownups here. )

Oh - that was uncalled for! Actually,, this group's ot posts are
usually highly superior to some of the semi-literate garbage I see in
so many groups these days. Mister Gates has made it so easy for anyone
to get on the 'net and inevitably this has really lowered the standard
throughout.

Thank God for that. My standards are pretty damned low.
