| | | Delurking Hi all,
Well, it's time for me to quit reading and start back to posting.
I've been keeping up with AS3 pretty frequently for the last several
months and losing at trivia. It's time to reaquaint myself with the
group.
I've been posting here off and on for nearly eight years (mostly off)
and stopped smoking more times than I care to count. Well, it's time
again!
Every pack of Marlboros I've purchased recently has a very prominant
suggestion to me. 07-07-07. OK, if they really want me to quit on
such a lucky sounding day, I'll bite. Therefore I (publicly, because
I think part of the reason my previous few quits have failed is
because I haven't come here to declare it) proclaim July 7, 2007 my
newest, and I hope last quit date. Heck, I may even get up early
(it's a Saturday) to smoke my last one at 7:07.
I've enjoyed reading the posts lately and I look forward to joining in
on the discussions and support again. I saw a post the other day that
had a list of the people who had been removed from the quit list and I
was second on the list! I want to be on a different list. I want to
be back on the quit list where I belong. (how many times can you use
the word, "list" in a single paragraph, I wonder).
Well, I'm rambling. I just wanted to say "Hi".
Cheers,
Rob

I think that helps - a lot. That's one thing that keeps my quit going
- the horrible idea that I'd have to come here and confess that I
screwed up.

It would be tragic to blow a quit that has such an auspicious
beginning.

All those times we tried to quit....Fuggetabout it! Look ahead and
don't beat yourself up. Are you quitting cold turkey or using NRT or Chantix?? I used Chantix and am astonished at how much easier it has
been for me than using patches and or gum. Everybody's different
though.
Will look for you to post your wee meter and watch it grow!

do wanna know what your quit method will be. I, too, used Chantix on

I look forward to seeing you post as much as you need. You know the
