Easter Joke: Only one I know

A teacher is leading her night-school class of English-As-A-Second-Language
students in a discussion about holidays.

She says: "Easter is coming up this weekend. This is an important Christian
holiday that we celebrate here in the United States, as well as in Christian
countries all around the world. Can anyone tell me something about Easter?
Who knows the significance, the meaning, the story behind Easter?"

A fellow raises his hand.

"Yes-- go ahead", says the teacher.

"Ah... Easter is when big, fat man in red suit come in homes, leave gifts
for childrens!" he says.

"No; that's Christmas. Also a very important holiday, but not the one we're
looking for. Anybody else?"

A woman raises her hand.

"All right; tell us about Easter", the teacher says.

The woman replies: "Easter is... is when the little children putting... ARE
putting on the costumes. They will going in homes of strangers, and ask for
food!"

"No, no; that's Halloween. A completely different sort of a holiday. We're
looking for the story of Easter, here. Anyone else want to try?"

A fellow raises his hand.

"Yes, sir. What can you tell us about Easter?"

The man stands up, squares his shoulders and recites: "Easter: Jesus, he was
crucify! Ah... the peoples take him down! They are clean him and... wrap
him up and put in cave! They put big rock in front!"

"Yes", says the teacher.

"Uh... so, after three day, he push the rock and he come out!", says the
man.

"Right! Go on, please" says the teacher.

"Uh, so then he come out from cave and... if he see his shadow, will be six
more weeks of winter!"
