All right, since Summer just sent out the list, i don't feel so
show-offy by posting my OF-o'meter for the first time here on AS3.
I've been waiting for this, I guess... since I lurched into an aborted
quit in '98. Fell off the wagon then, after only a few weeks.
This time instead of falling off the wagon...everything fell into
place.
Timing, desire, determination, and most of all support.
So without furthur ado, may I introduce to you, 2007's latest (and
August's only)
.....OF....!
Ladies and gents...
(meter, please)

And now as an Added Attraction...save your ticket stub...
OK. Smoker since 1973, two little quits in there.
It's 2007, which means 34 years. I'm just 52, and THATmeans over half
my life's been spent in smoke. I didn't want to do this, but I just
ran my meter back to 3-Aug 1973...just to demonstrate to the
youngsters on the board here what a pack-a-day means.
You're going to see this in today's dollars, at $4US/pk of 20. this
should be scary. sheesh - over one-third of a MILLION ciggies.
Shit. I knew I didn't want to see this. Yep, scary.
Kids, don't try ths at home.
