Default It gets easier!

A week from today I will be quit for 5 full months and I've had some
great realizations over the past week. I thought I'd share for those
of you who are struggling with your quits or are new to your quit.
1. The smell of cigarette smoke no longer triggers a crave, it's
sustains my quit.
2. Seeing someone smoking no longer triggers a crave, it cements my
quit.
3. Allowing myself to remember the pain and frustration of hell week
keeps me going through my quit.
4. I am an addict! I cannot smoke.

There's another thread running right now where someone said "Just
quit!" and the question "Is it really that easy?" was raised. My
answer ~ Yes, it's that easy. But you have to want it! I want to be a
non-smoker so I do everything in my power to be one. After 5 months it
doesn't take a lot of power though. It's pretty easy now. Am I
complacent? I don't think so. I believe in myself and my ability to
stay a non-smoker. That's what really matters.
OK, now I've rambled.
Have a wonderful weekend! I'm going to spend it outside with my
family, not smoking!

Jenn ~ 007 & a proud member of the ACB!
I quit over 4 months ago on January 23, 2007.

Xmas lights along the back deck are lit.

Water temp -- 84 F
Air temp -- 76 F

Fire Pit is set for burnin' ... a night swim, some Pink Floyd, Rod
Stewart & Jeff Beck, etc and a cold beer.

Waiting for the first stars to appear ...

BTW ... last night I smelled like pumpernickel ... I hosed a 10 loaf
batch somehow ... it was like thick soup ... I tried to salvage it and
ended up with pumpernickel up to my elbows ... lol ... at 4 in the
morning ... cripes! Last batch of the night too! Oh well ...

Cheers and Hugs!

with a long run up and a perfect jump I just may reach but there will

Have a good one, crack a brew for me and hoist it to the stars.
