Yep -- Google Groups does the same thing to me too which is why I keep
this usenet account active. For message retention tho, you can't beat
Google!
Cheers!

I'm not Mike, of course, but I'm poking in anyway. I have the utmost
admiration for anyone who can use Google Groups. I haven't the
patience or the, what, skill? I *can* use it and have when my ISP is
hiccupping, but I get thoroughly confused. Besides, to the best of my
knowledge GG has no killfile. Gawd, do I need a killfile.

thread that I am either the author of or it was directed to me, I then
might pull up my other newsgroup reader, http://www.talkaboutsupport.com/grou....stop-smoking/. I
still use Google most of the time as it does not happen all that
much...

You're not missing anything Sue. Using google groups instead of Agent
for you would be like pushing an ox cart by yourself, instead of
driving a S class Mercedes.
