Default Hello Friends!

A lot of time has passed, more than I thought it would anyway :-)

There is so much I want to share with you all, but I just can't bring
myself to write a long post, and I don't want to leave again without
saying "hi" at the very least!

The work is not bad, we do everything from laying down cables and
wiring at large construction sites to implementing video surveillance
and fire alarms. Yet another change of career. But the pay is good and
I appreciate the physical labour, I must brag that I have lost some 6
kilos (cca 12 pounds already) :-)

I miss every single one of you. I miss reading and posting and
enjoying this wonderful community. I'm looking forward to spend this
next year with you :-)

Smoking? No thanks, I don't even think about it. It's just not an
option! After all, I just don't smoke!

I can't wait to join in the flow here again :-)

God bless you all, and may your quits be strong!

I have been quit for 9 Months, 1 Week, 3 Days, 11 hours, 57 minutes
and 34 seconds (284 days). I have saved 3.982,96 kn by not smoking
9.957 cigarettes. I have saved 1 Month, 4 Days, 13 hours and 45
minutes of my life. My Quit Date: 30.5.2007 1:00

Oh, you have brought a smile to my face!! Sooo good to see you. Don't
know about anyone else, but I was worried. Worried you might have
gotten hurt on the new job or worried that.....well, that's
unthinkable - you *wouldn't* bust your wonderful quit. Thanks so much
for checking in! Oh, and nice meter ya got there, kid. ;o)

Not smoking and losing weight, that's winning twice!
Of course, without a smoke in one hand, you now have TWO to work with!
Great hearing from you, and congratulations at BOTH wins!

Right now we are installing fire alarms in a bakery. They have some
intriguing machines there and I'm looking forward to snap a few shots

Thank you friend! It's great to be working again. Most (over 80%) of
the staff are young smokers in their 20's. Although I am glad and
proud not to be tempted by their smoking, it's so sad seeing them
killing themselves with the crap.

After snipping most of your wonderful and cheerful message, I want to
add that it is so very good to see you again. As you know, Tiho, I
don't post much but I do read every day. I was beginning to have some
formless worries about you. This group needs and loves you. I am
glad that all is well and the work is good.

BTW, I try to leave the dust untouched until it becomes absolutely
necessary to swoop it all up in a vacuum cleaner. Which is what I was
doing earlier today. My younger son and his girlfriend will be
staying with me later this week and then we are going to elder son's
wedding to his beloved lady on Saturday. None of us smoke and we will
all be staying at a non-smoking hotel in Connecticul. I think that's
wonderful

Dearest Becky! My Quitbuddy! I am determined to stick around here for
as long as it takes you to make it to OOF! That, I promise!

After that, we'll see ;-)

Mike! I'm so sorry I missed your OF party! I wish you many more smoke
free years full of the same fine stuff that you keep on providing
relentlessly here!
You are the guardian angel of AS3! It is a great honour to share this
boat with you.

Awww Joyce! THis is so sweet of you and I am genuinely honoured by
your post!
I was actually procrastinating with my post for a whole day. I wanted
to make a nice long detailed post, but the words just would not come!
I missed your posts very much, your invaluable stories, I just love
them!

It is thrilling to feel your excitement half way across the world
Joyce. I hope the wedding swoops the earth under your feet away.

I love photos and I always bug people to bring them back for me to
see. From you, I would much prefer you to write about it, after the
wedding, once the dust settles back down, and you choose to articulate
your feelings :-)

I wish you all the best, and your son a happy and healthy life!
