Houston, we are GO for launch!

I will quit smoking in 10 hours, 51 minutes and 21 seconds using
Chantix.

Well, it's down to the last day and I have no regrets. Smoking on
Chantix is like sex with 10 rubbers on it - you can't feel a thing! I
now get nothing form cigs. I have noticed a short temper growing, but
it's nothing I can't handle. I've started thinking about dating again,
since I won't be smoking. I think this will be a big reason to keep my
quit. In the past, I have lost many potential dates to my smoking -
never again.

So, I'm getting cleaned up and looking for a date or just to have some
fun

I can't wait!

I am glad to see you so excited, Gary!! Hold on to all that positive
energy. I am sure that there will be a few rough patches, but you should
print out this post to read when they happen to remind yourself of how
exited you are right now! I can't wait to watch your progress in the coming
weeks, months and years!!!

Gary! What you are writing totally brings back the feelings I had
right at the point you are at currently. You CAN and WILL make it
because you are focused and clear as to why you want to quit. The
Chantix is a great tool but you know that coming here is the cement
that keeps most of us smober at first and is good to hold onto for as
long as we need to do so. I know when I see an OF of many years
posting, I feel that, yes, smobriety is possible and sustainable for
as long as I live, which is something I had not considered in any of
my previous quits. So, jump in, brother, and enjoy the clean air!
