Default I have begun

Drum roll - 47 minutes and 45 seconds since I snubbed out the last stinky
cigareet. I'm smelling better. I'm feelling better. It's a wonderful thing,
this not smoking. No good can come from smoking and so I don't. How about
this - 0 cigarettes not smoked and $0.07 not wasted on cancer stick, and
life saved = 0 minutes.

Donna, stay strong and stay stubborn. A lot of determination thrown
in helps.
It's a great life if you don't weaken!
You may have a rough few days but we're here for you.

Woo Hoo Donna! You know we're all behind you in this quit! Getting
and staying smober is one gift that only you can give yourself! If
you start feeling nutz, read and post here. It keeps your fingers
busy and your mind occupied with postive reinforcement. You can also
check out the FAQs as they always have something you may have read
before but have it hit you differently this time. Also, if you need
to chat, post a message here in the NG then go to the chatroom that
Marvin has set up for us. It's at http://www.johnphoto.com/chat.html
and you need to have Java installed for it to run. But when you go
there, you will most likely have one or more of us join you and we can
help you cope with the crazies.

Hang Tuff!
Don't Puff

and cherish and nurture that tiny little meter. All of ours were that
small once upon a time!

Six months, three weeks, three days, 11 hours, 25 minutes and 27
seconds. 4109 cigarettes not smoked, saving $1,232.60. Life saved: 2
weeks, 6 hours, 25 minutes.

Great job Donna!

Don't let it get hard. Nictotine tries to change how you think. It's
like its brainwashing you from the inside.
Don't let the little monster live!

OK... I am making no sense now.

Donna,

Not smoking is a wonderful thing. You will experience
many benefits, some totally unexpected.

Hang in there, and remember to be good to yourself.

Not this time, dammit. I'm stronger than it is and it knows it. Nicotine,
my friend, is officially scared of me!

Drum roll - 3 hours, 32 minutes and 8 seconds since I snubbed out the last
stinky cigareet. I'm smelling better. I'm feelling better. It's a wonderful
thing, this not smoking. No good can come from smoking and so I don't. How
about this - 2 cigarettes not smoked and $0.33 not wasted on cancer stick,
and life saved = 10 minutes.

Congratulations Donna!!! You've done a great job preparing for this and
I know you'll do just fine. Keep posting... even if you have to post
every 5 minutes. Do whatever it takes to not smoke!!! Not even one.

So far so good.

One drop in the no smoking bucket is one drop... more drops to come until
the bucket is full, overflowing, and just can't contain itself any longer..
I'm going from smoker to quitting smoking to being a nonsmoker

The first minutes, hours, and days are the most memorable...and the
hardest ones to get. Treasure your quit and one day soon it will look
like mine...the damn thing keeps getting bigger and bigger...LOL
Dave
But you can never again let your guard down, there is no such thing as a
'social smoker'.
Seven months, one week, six days, 21 hours, 4 minutes and 52 seconds.
9035 cigarettes not smoked, saving $4,516.72. Life saved: 4 weeks, 3
days, 8 hours, 55 minutes. My quit date Jan 21, 2007 8PM

Every meter out there in the whole world was once at this point.
You have just planted a tree. Right now it needs all the care you can
give to it. Later on, it will give you back by providing a cool shade
for you to enjoy. Time does wonders.
