| | | Just checking in Hi all,
Just to let you know I am still around and still smober. It's over
three months now and each day just gets better, apart from the weight
gain that is! I read these posts every day but I don't write because I
have MS and typing isn't very easy for me, so forgive me if I seem
uninterested, I'm not, honest. Reading all your postings, just
reinforces my determination not to go back to my old habits! My
savings are now almost $1,000, when they get to $1600 I'm buying
myself a new laptop computer without any guilt pangs at all.!
I would recommend Champix to anyone who has found other quit methods
not very satisfactory. I didn't get any of the depression, but then
again I'm on Zoloft as a side effect of one of my MS meds is
depression! My sleep was disturbed to a small extent, very vivid
dreams which woke me up, then I have difficulty getting back to sleep.
I finished the Champix 2 weeks ago and my sleep is now better than it
ever was when I was smoking. I'm waking up feeling refreshed as
opposed to feeling as if I've just run a marathon.
Anyway, can't write any more. I'll give you regular updates.
Thanks for all the support.
Cheers

Good for you, Sandie, for keeping your quit. A laptop sounds like a
