Default KIng of the Hill

Anyone else see the episode where Hank catches Bobby smoking and in
the process of making him smoke a carton, gives in to the "just one
puff" junkie thinking and blows a 12 year quit, making them all start
smoking and have to quit ? There were some pretty funny scenes with
the withdrawl symptoms, I guess some of the writers speak from
personal experience. I was encouraged that such a theme could be a
viable plotline for mainstream TV.
It speaks to how common the experience of quitting smoking has
become.
Just wondering because it doesn't seem to have been commented on
before.

Sorry I missed it. I like the show, but never seem to watch it. I
think it gets caught in the "you decide what to watch", "no, you
decide what to watch" and back and forth and trying to guess what the
other wants to watch and GMF probably thinking I don't like 'King of
the Hill'.

I am not familiar with the show, but I do agree that if getting smober
is now part of a comedy show, then it certainly is sinking into public
consciousness. But, why I am writing is to say that I am glad,
Kathleen, that your DH is doing so well with his quit! Tell him I am
rooting for him!

I remember that one. It was funny. Did you see the Frasier when his
manager/agent, the evil witch, was about to marry a multi-millionare
if she can only quit smoking. That speech she gives about what she
loves about smoking would make Mother Theresa crave a smoke. I know
the entire cast except for David H-P were smokers at that time.
