Default Knock Knock

<peers round the corner>....

I've only been smober for 5 hours - is that long enough to pull up a
chair and stay awhile??

I know I've been here before and have told you all that I was
quitting. This time, I have to. The decision to quit is not mine -
rather the bank balance. Andy and I are planning on emigrating to
Canada in June (not a word Lynn) and the only way that is going to
happen is if I can quit. I spend almost £125 a month on cigarettes
and it's ridiculous to throw that amount of money away.

So for the 4th and final time - here we go!

Welcome back, Summer! You do know the drill so sit down and look
through the FAQs again as you might find the key you need to make your
quit stick this time! To free yourself of this addiction is something
you will come to learn is one of the best things you will ever do -
for YOURSELF! So, get the Fairies lined up for dancing as the Gnomes

/me shaking my head about the immigration laws here letting you back
coming here when you have a new quit is very important, you know that.
straying away from here is when people get into trouble.

Welcome back Summer! I think I deleted the original post thinking it was
a "knock-knock" joke

You can make this your final quit, just as I am making this one my final
quit.

Are you kidding? 5 hours or 5 minutes. You are *always* welcome. So,
the big move is finally going to take place!! Where in Canada will
you be alighting? I'm hoping to make a trip up there in some many
months (not sure when but after June). [note to self: apply for
passport!!].
Annie will be so happy to have a sweet smelling mum.

what a great reason to quit. I think you should put pictures from Canada all
over your place as a reminder of your goal. Which area are you planning to
immigrate? Maybe you can find a quit body there who can help, support you
and help you stay foccus on your quit.

It helped in my case, not so big of a plan as yours but for me its big. I
decided I want to go on a trip to Ottawa and meet Marvi. He has been my Hero
since I quit and I am learning many thing from him. But I need money for
this trip. So I know I can afford the trip if I don't smoke. Marvin
constantly sends me pictures from the canal and I have many pictures from
Ottawa around me to stay focused. All the best you can do it.

Same here...

There needs to be a way for new quitters to feel at ease to post here -
*even* if they are failing and need more help.

I've already seen WAY too many dissapear after a day or two - without a
trace.
