Lately ....

It's been snowing.

Seems we get snow every day.

All last night at work, while I had 16 of my favourite Christmas songs
playing over and over, it snowed. The whole night. I love snow.

I'm baking a large batch of oatmeal chocolate chip cookies. The last
few are in the oven as I type. The smell is ... wonderful. It's
snowing, big fluffy flakes, as I type.

Yesterday we had snow too. I made 2 loaves of French bread. For
dinner I made scalloped potatoes which we ate with steamed veggies and
left over Tortierre from our evening with Friends.

Snow makes me feel young. Not smoking makes it easier to feel young.

I have been quit for 3 Years, 3 Months, 4 Days, 9 hours, 19 minutes
and 41 seconds (1,191 days). I have saved $6,195.21 by not smoking
15,488 cigarettes. I have saved 1 Month, 3 Weeks, 2 Days, 18 hours and
40 minutes of my life. My Quit Date: 8/23/2004 8:00 AM

It can be done. It *does* get easier. And it is very much worth it
-- you are worth it.

with the leftover French bread).

Almost. The snow is pretty, the ice is tricky, the cold is unbearable.
I'll take the Southern climate, thank you. But the garlic bread and
fettucini make me salivate!
