Default Lessons learned...

Tic-Tacs also do not mix with coffee.
You can have too many Tic-Tacs in one go.
Mosquitos prefer non-smokers.
Watermelon *can* taste good.
Melon scented candles still don't do a thing for me.
Cinnamon incense smells kinda nice???

ENDOWed 8 of 13
*There is no 9*

Breathing freely for 4D 20h 26m (4 days). € 12,36 added to the Save
Vashti Fund, as I didn't turn 169 cigarettes into ash. 14h 5m of my
life saved for later.

- Chewing gum (regular or NRT) too vigorously leads to a bleeding tongue
- You can choke on every kind of mint, no matter how small
- Smoking doesn't improve your sense of smell much. The only thing you
smell more strongly are smokers
- Unless you put the money in a separate jar, the money you saved not
smoking seems to spend itself on other stuff

Bas, ENDOWed 13 of 13. Smoke-free for one month, one day and 8 hours.
647 cigarettes not smoked.

*Do not try to talk to #9, for that would be impossible. Instead, try to
remember, there is no 9*

LOL, yup! I dunno- somehow it helps me to focus more on the weird and
wonderful than talk about the bad bits. A nice distraction. :-)

Hmm-yup, I thought so myself. I'm continuing my melon scented
candles experiment just in case... I can still only smell them when
I blow them out, but since they smell bad then that might be a good
thing. :-)

Ooookay- you caught me. I've been trying to hide my fantasy that #9
is in fact my future demon lover, I secretly call him Damian since
that seems an appropriate name for a demon lover if one is going to
have one...<sigh!>

Chewing *anything* will do that... (especially when absent-mindedly
chewing on scissors)

Just goes to show that most things, apart from air, should NOT be
inhaled. :-)

I'm on the fence about that... my sense of smell is too well
developed as it is. Hopefully this will be corrected with age but
sadly my mother reports that time didn't alter her sense of smell.

Hey, I did post "*There is no 9*" in the first post of this thread!
Fans of the Matrix are everywhere, my 11 YO son had his judo exam
yesterday and when it was time for standing work he did a Morpheus:
held out his arm, making a "come here" motion with his fingers
toward his opponent.<g>

> Bend away.....

Consider #9 utterly bent, albeit non-existant. :-)

Fantastic! Now that's what I call parenting.

A few years ago, I went to see Star Wars episode I. Girl holds out her
hand to collect my ticket stub. I wave my hand and say "You don't need
to see my ticket".

She didn't get it.

Those are the moments you wish you had a good old fashioned blaster.

Naw, that's what happens when someone like me has offspring. How
many kids actually *complain* they don't have a Tardis, or want a
*real* lightsaber instead of some plastic toy.

Ah, the Force can have a strong influence on the weak-minded...
there may be a lower limit to the weak-minded bit?<g>

Had to google the exact quote for this:
"Hokey religions and ancient weapons are no match for a good
blaster at your side, kid. " :-)

LOL, no Dan <phew!> 4th Kyu, with plenty of moves he'd better not
try on his mother...! I don't stick to the rules and am not
ticklish which the family find evil of me. ;-)

Still- he did the exam *with* the dog bite on the inside of his
right elbow which was painful, had to have the dressing changed
halfway through cause it just came off. Honestly, one kid there
should be be thrown in with the adults: he's about 4x bigger and
heavier than the largest of the others, someone is going to get
their back broken trying to throw him and failing... :-/

As it was some of the throws were like- *wheeeeee* :-)

I want a transporter. I am SO sick of crowded airports, security
checkpoints, being stuck in the middle seat with zero legroom etc.
The world is SO ready for a transporter.

You know, there's a scene where some dude wants to sell Obi Wan some
cigarettes, and he does the Jedi mind trick "You don't want to sell me
death sticks. You want to go home and rethink your life".

If only it were that easy.....

Good quote......but you had to Google for the exact text? How
disappointing :-)
