| | | Lil Anxious Okay, it's dark. No cigs thus far and no cigs in the future. I'm feeling a
little on the free floating anxiety/anxious side, but tis almost time for
Big Brother and then reading and then bedtime.
I will have been a nonsmoker for a day 12 hours from now That's looking
ahead, right?
I'm clean and staying that way...even with several triggers coming and
going and passing today. Now to keep that strength rolling for the rest of
the tomorrrows.
Sung to the tune of whatever:
Under no circumstancer
Is smoking the answer.
Drum roll - 11 hours, 11 minutes and 11 seconds since I snubbed out the
last stinky cigareet. I'm smelling better. I'm feelling better. It's a
wonderful thing, this not smoking. No good can come from smoking and so I
don't. How about this - 6 cigarettes not smoked and $1.05 not wasted on
cancer stick, and life saved = 30 minutes.

You can... strike that, you ARE doing it!. Be strong. Don't cave to the
crave. It will pass. Try hard to do something else when it hits...
anything else (if you have an SO, you can get your exercise in at the
same time ). Keep your mind busy. You've come a long way. You've
planned, you've read, you've posted, and you have prepared for this. Now
you are there. You're doin' great!!! Keep reading, keep posting, and do
not smoke... not even one.

I have not smoked since 7/8/2007 2:30 PM. That's 58 days! I have not
used any nicotine at all since 9/03/2007.

a wonderful achievement done day by day!

That's great Donna. Remember it won't always be this hard. Hang on. Observe
yourself getting through cravings.

She's Lindsey, named after Linz, Austria, where my mother grew up.
She's also my pride and joy and there's a photo of her on the quit smoking
blog I'm writing.
