| | | Meter post. Sexy pink camera. Life's good. Hello everyone.
Another good day. Another good weekend to look forward to.
Today is supposed to be sunny/partly cloudy. No rain in forecast. I
can actually go take some pics outside without getting drenched
today. Outside work. Fresh air!
Here is my great reward to myself for not smoking. The total price
for the camera, memory card and case was $397.60. By the day it
arrived, I had saved something like $402.00. So, I have essentially
used up that savings.
But, now, I'm onto a new goal. I haven't yet decided what it will be,
but, when I get my meter up to a savings of $600-700, I may decide to
purchase another reward. I think that building in rewards to a quit,
is simply an excellent motivator! When I got to pull this sexy pink
camera out of the box...wow! I thought to myself. I get this cool
toy just for not smoking!!! By being good to myself and my
family...here is this reward to use and enjoy. The benefits will
continue...as it keeps me occupied with a new hobby and capturing
moments to share in the future. Oooohhh...I just love it! This is
SO MUCH BETTER THAN SMOKING ON THE BACK PORCH!
So, here is my first gift to myself: http://i9.photobucket.com/albums/a76...7/DSC00530.jpg
Yeah...going to go take some pics now!
Oh yeah...and the meter post is lookin' good!
Two months, one week, two days, 22 hours, 59 minutes and 30 seconds.
1419 cigarettes not smoked, saving $425.75. Life saved: 4 days, 22
hours, 15 minutes.
Take care everyone and enjoy the weekend! Stay quit...it gets
easier!

OK. Did you have another digital before you go this one? Otherwise,
how did you take a picture of your camera?

Well, as to the weekend, 6 hours OT at work this morning, have to mow
the front and back lawn, dig in clay to mix in better dirt to plant 37
daffodil bulbs (or 47 if the others arrive). Do laundry, start
scrubbing house if Daughter #2 decides to have her after wedding party
at my house on 11/1. Not much in there to enjoy, but thanks. )

I just checked the front porch. Make that 47 bulbs to plant. I just
know that Robin was over there in Holland telling those folks at
Brecks to send my order off to me. Thanks, Robin. )

Well, I have a sexy tech toy (tech compared to, say, 100 years ago),
but, um, that's probably not what you're talking about.
