Default nearly three days

I am so glad to let you know that, in few hours, I'll have reached THREE
days without a single puff.
I've had only few persistent cravings and often had to remind myself that I
don't smoke anymore.
My meter is on and working.

The feeling of indigestion is still here, specially in the evening, (I take
Champix after breakfast and evening meal), but I believe that
this is partly due to the fact that I can't be very active in the evenings,
walking has been impossible as the weather has been very bad
during the last month. I am confident that this will change and I am not
going to let it affect my quit.

Ofcourse your help has been invaluable and I'll keep posting and reading.
Thank you.

With my best wishes.

E

The cliff above the snakepits is now behind you. You still have some
uphill march to do, but on top of the hill there are some sweet sweet
smelling flowers. Don't stop, don't look back. Be strong!

WooHoo!!! Congrats E! I'm right there with you at under a week... I
haven't had the cravings though. For me, it's more of just kind of an
emptiness. Especially at my trigger moments like right after dinner.

Phil
I haven't smoked since 7/8/2007 2:30 PM and that means that the TC and
the taxman didn't get $30.20 of my money. The TC gets to keep 120
cigarettes though but I can be smug about it for an extra 10 hours.

Good going Eleonora! Now stay strong, and don't let down your
guard: I got a craving just yesterday after a month... the demon is
strong but with willpower, coping techniques and support we can all
make our goal to stay smokefree. :-)

Hope you feel better soon... an upset stomach doesn't help but you
can get past it!

Three days is sweet Eleonora. I remember the reminding myself
I didn't smoke anymore in the early days. I even made a desktop
picture for my computer saying I quit so I wouldn't forget. <grin>
Just keep adding hours and you'll see how quickly they add up,
Robin.

Eleonora! I am glad to see you posting that you have added on a third
day to your quit. I do hope that the stomach issues with the Chantix
do lessen as I certainly found that drug a great tool to get smober.
Do read and post here as much as you can as it does distract you from
stinking thinking that can lead to a sickerette. And just hang tuff,
it does get better and better!
