Default Nursery Rhymes For Men & Women - A Study in Prose Poetry

"I propose to show you prose poetry, the former forms adject
contiguously, vis-a-vis prose posed conspicuously. Simply put, I pose
this where prose poetry is what you hear when wondering where time
went while reading rhyme wonderments wrought, writ, and revealed
thusly, hieronymously." Which is to say that over years of practice,
I've developed a facility for textual wordplay that is evident, self-
evident, in my work - my prose poetry. Critical perspectives may vary,
but the technical mastery of apparent minutia is obvious, and
unmistakable, i.e. whatever it is I do, and irrespective of whatever
others may think of what I do, people generally agree that,
technically, whatever one calls what I do, one can't deny that I do it
well.

Records date short rhyming children's songs to at least the late
middle ages. Through rhythm, rhyme, and allegory, nursery rhymes
soothe, as well as convey simple truths to children. The patterns and
rhythms associated with poetry focus attention on the verse itself,
and thereby reduce the mental fatigue of trying too hard to comprehend
meaning. Words read rhythmically can alter one's emotional and
physiological arousal level and be used to stimulate and calm. If such
a concept works for children's nursery rhymes, it is reasonable to
consider that it will have the same affect on mature minds as well in
the conveyance of more complex concepts and ideas, truths.

The rhythms of this prose poetry are beneficial to both physical and
psychological performance, as is evidenced by a substantial body of
research in athletic and corporate environments which indicates that
rhythm, particularly the synchronization of music with task, is
associated with higher levels of work output. The qualities of rhythm
and rhyme emulate patterns of cognitive skill, and thereby create a
better learning environment. Again, there is an abundance of
correlative evidence in dance, sport, and business to support this
idea. Research suggests a substantive link between the rhythms of
poetry to the attainment of "flow state", defined as an altered state
of awareness in which the mind and/or body function with minimal
conscious effort. Many athletes refer to this state as "being in the
zone". Flow state has frequently been associated with optimal
performance.

The fundamental philosophical approach of this effort is to examine
and address questions like: What am I missing? Where is it? Why is it
important? What should I do about it? If science is defined as the
systematic observation, evaluation, and assessment of physical,
visible, phenomena or manifestations, then this material is the
similar study and investigation of the true but unseen aspects of
man's nature. It is presented in common vernacular, as a conversation
with Hieronymous707, a character of my creation. It is a word game
between one, and another, between truth, and myth, between fact, and
fiction, illustrating the decisions made during the game's
advancement.
