Re: OT - To ALL my quit-buddies here.... Steve! I think we all are glad that you are back indoors and have a
place that you and your dog can both enjoy together. I am glad for
you that you managed all of this and maintained your quit the full
time. I know I would be very set upon if I lost my home here and had
to find a place for me and Lucifer. Like you, I'd be stuck as cats
can't get into transitional housing and I would have to probably give
him up. I am glad you had your car to fall back on and maintained
your sanity through this ordeal.
One thing you do need to look back on from this is to figure out the
good you learned from it. You might not be able to pinpoint anything
at first, but having been out of doors 11 months a few years back, I
learned a lot about what really matters in life and just how
unimportant 'stuff' is.
