Default OT - Drop of Water at 2000 Frames per Second

Drop of Water

Watch the 2-minute video that shows a drop of water falling into a puddle at
2000 frames a second. You will see something totally unexpected. Although
I have often seen film or video such as this, especially from "Doc" of
M.I.T., it is the first time the physics of the event were explained to me.
Click on link below.

From the TV show "Time Warp"

Hey Les, that's cool.
I managed to photograph that just the other week and it only took me 167
shots to get it.

;-)

Thanks for sharing!

Removed due to terms of use violation, damn. I really like the one in which
they pop a ballon filled with water and you can see the ballon skin unwrap
and this ball of water is suspended in gravity for what is probably a
milli-second before it collapses.

Yes it is now working. That is, at the risk of sounding geeky, way cool
