OT -- More Techie Stuff

[Marvin The Paranoid Android]

The little Asus laptop is a killer.

I've installed Apache server, mySQL database and PHP on it. Also
Eclipse, an integrated development environment for programming Java
(plus most any other programming language) and JEdit, a generic simple
to use text editor.

I've tested the Apache, mySQL and PHP and it works! Shwing! Just have
to start managing the disk space now tho.

It's a sweet little machine. Now I can start 'relearning' some PHP and
SQL programming along with Java while in the bathroom or driving across
town or swimming ... it's so portable!

I'm entertained.

Yes! The 4 Gig version of it (7" display but it's easy to tuck away and
take with you).

It's a sweet little machine. Running Linux it doesn't seem to have
resource issues ... it just flies.

I'm quite happy with this little puppy.
