OT: Movie review: Golden compass

Great movie!!! Nicole makes a wonderful "bad guy" - very realistic.
Despite all the negative press, I had to look long and hard for the anti
Christian undertones. Must read the books now to find out what happens
next!

Best of all, there was NO smoking! I recommend it for all.

Well, I don't see many movies, except on TV. Yesterday I saw this
fairly old "campy" movie from the mid-90's called "The Dentist"
starring Corben Berensen. What a hoot! I can't believe nobody told me
about it before, cause I'm a fan of "offbeat" sicko noir stuff. You
don't want to watch it if you have a trip to the dentist on your
horizon - but it is really funny, if you like this "Jef.," kinda
stuff.
