I've done both and found CT (in a different mindset) to be easier....I
was a Chantix lover and founded a Chantix group before going CT after
reading Easy way to quit smoking pdf I found on google. Before that,
I was scared to death of CT.

I got this far because I wanted to, with help from NRT patches at the start
and, of course, AS3.

Re: NRT/Chantix or Cold Turkey?
I couldn't have done this without chantix. Truly.
and AS3 of course. ;-)

On-Topic: NRT/Chantix or Cold Turkey?
I've tried most everything except going to a witch doctor over the
years. I did Chantix this time and I almost felt I was cheating as
the quit was that easy. Still having all of my peeps here keep my
head screwed on long after any of the methods were long gone.

Cold turkey, but I would have done and will do anything else I have to
in order to stay quit.
Also, knowing that everyone in this group has my back has been
crucial.

I did CT cause Chantix wasn't available 3+ years ago. But from what
I've heard, Chantix would have made my "ordeal" a lot less painful.
Always grateful,

I feel Cold Turkey is much better . It is easier to quit without any
nicotine substitution with a little bit of determination.
