OT -- Road Trip

Off today to pick up the eldest at the in-laws.

Wife and youngest have been away since Wednesday at the mother-of-all
Girl Guide Conventions ... they'll be back this Wednesday.

I'll be back tomorrow, then off to work again tomorrow night ...
thinking I need a holiday soon.

Marvin, have you decided whether or not to take the offer of the
'working holiday' at the lake? I would think you don't get an actual
vacation time off so soon into the job otherwise.

Hey Mike!

I haven't decide yet -- it's in Quebec, and I don't speak French (I can
fake it) so I still have to work out a few of the details.

It did get me thinking tho because obviously the owner wants me to learn
more then what his own short experience as a baker can offer. The
owner's a well connected person who knows many people so now I'm
wondering if he can find someone such as a retired baker or a bakery
outside of our 'competitive zone' that would help me along the way to
fully understanding the science behind the art of bread making.
