Default Say 'Cheese!' ...

http://www.imaging-resource.com/PRODS/E410/ZBIGKIT.JPG

My new toy. An Olympus E-410 Digital-SLR.

Priced right, fully equipped right out of the box with everything I need
(2 lenses, a 28-84mm and an 80-300mm, plus battery charger, cables and
software). Picked up the 'official' Olympus kit package with carrying
bag, spare battery pack, UV filter, and cleaning cloth.

My old 'beast' was a 2 MPixel Olympus C-2100 UltraZoom w/ 10X optical
zoom (affectionately know as 'The UZi')which I bought 7 years ago and
can say has served me very well. I'm hoping for the same from the new
beast.

So that's it! Battery is charging and I suppose I should spend some
quality time with The Manual so I have some idea wtf I'm doing with it :-D

Cheers and Hugs,
Marvin

I have been quit for 3 Years, 5 Months, 1 Day, 8 hours, 12 minutes and
21 seconds (1,249 days).
I have saved $6,496.57 by not smoking 16,241 cigarettes.
I have saved 1 Month, 3 Weeks, 5 Days, 9 hours and 25 minutes of my life.
My Quit Date: 8/23/2004 8:00 AM

Ok.... we can now expect pictures of all the things you've been
describing all this time.
You can start with some pictures of the bakery.

Wow, Marvin! Now THAT is a serious digital camera! My teeny $100 e-
bay model does a semi-decent job but I do find I miss many good shots
as it's so slow. I bet you can give Echo a run for the money now! I
do agree with David though that we do need photos of the bakery!

I posted some shots back in July ... but they're no longer on
pixentral.com ... they were taken with 'The Beast' Ver. 1.0

I'll bring the camera in over the weekend and take some more.

Cheers!

The bakery I posted a few shots of in July but they're no longer up
on pixentral.com ... but I can redo some. I'm thinking more of shots
of some of the breads I make. Then some dinner pictures. Maybe
BBQing ... ribs are on sale this week so ... I may ... just ... pick
some ... up :-)

The cats are always willing subjects too ...

And the weather ... the great outdoors ...

But first I have to read the manual. So much to tweak ... so little
patience. :-)

Cheers!
