Default six weeks and it gets better

I just clocked up six weeks of not breathing in smoke!
Saw the doctor today and he was very pleased to hear I'd stopped
breathing in smoke. The oxygen level in my blood was 90 so it looks
like the lungs are not functioning too well, not surprisingly after
almost half a century of smoking heavy.
So he prescribed pills that will clear up the e phlegm in the chest and
another lot of tablets to alleviatehe numbness in my feet, which I may
have mentioned before is caused by heavy drinking for forty years!
At this moment, I should tell you, I am drunnk in charge of a computer ...

As long as your hands and fingers aren't numb you can just keep on

Ian! I am so thrilled to read of your continuing progress. We find
that our lives change a lot the longer we stay smober and it's all for
the good! I am glad you saw the doctor and I think the meds he gave
you will help to expedite your continuing road to better health! Keep
on kicking butt!!!

Now, do sit back and enjoy as The UK 6-Pak of Yodeling Gnomes are
heading your way with Horace,, the Huffing Hogg, to sing songs of
smobriety to help you celebrate this milestone!

With whom do the UK gnomes stay? George and Barbara? Surely not
Summer. She wouldn't want them around her dear sweet baby.

The one for the chest are just beginning to take effect I think, and I'm
coughing up some rather nasty stuff. Once all that goo has gone, I think
the breathing will improve and put more oxygen into my bloodstream.

Only you, Sue, would ask about the UK Gnomes. They are here with the
other gnomes. It just turned out one day that the ones from the UK
got together and realized there were 6 of them. So they are naturals
for HOF celebrations. I have gnomes from most places around except
Antarctica. They just find the penguins drown out their yodeling too
much!.
