about filling that up with air, also about using it when you sing.

meditator, I can attest that there are some really amazing depths to of
breath to explore. Especially if you don't smoke :-)
Great news, Jef. Now go for a walk. :-)

| | | Re: The sound of zebras...? Am talking about filling everything. A lot of people just use the top of
their lungs
to breathe. I mean, their breath is high up in their body. After you learn
to lower
your breath, you already get a lot more air. And yeah, you use your
diaphragm to
direct the air where you want it to go. Now, if you combine the both of them
and
first fill up the lower part and top it off by taking in more air by
expanding your
ribcage your lungs are as full as they've ever been. Now by that time you'll
think
you're completely filled to burst, but even then there's more room to take
in more
air. Too much even, enough to make you dizzy. Anywho, exorcisms well worth
checking out for non musicians too. Especially for us ex lung abusers.
Massive meter Karen, looks great!

Look! It's a pony, and I think it's friendly. Got an apple?

This is true I think, certainly in my case. I seem to breathe
shallowly unless I make a conscious effort to pull in the air way down
to the bottom of the lungs.
I've noticed every time I have a chest x-ray, the radiographer has to
come back and do a second one, seems my lungs are very narrow and longer
than most, so the first picture leaves out some of the bottom. I've
even begun to mention this to the operator before being pressed up to
that cold plate, so she will know a second one is going to be needed.

if they zoomed out a little and got everything on it eh?

You got link(s) to info on that?
I've be trying to re-find breathing instruction on ciggyfree too. |

| | | Re: The sound of zebras...? Nah, no links. Had a teacher come in and show me when I was
still playing. But I just googled 'breathing exercises' and had a
whopping 1.140.000 results. Looked at a few of them, like this: http://www.dartmouth.edu/~acskills/d..._breathing.doc
Those two exorcisms on that page would make you aware of
how you are breathing in no time. I do remember coming across
some good links when I just quit. If they are on my other puter I'll
post them later, but it won't be too hard to find more than enough
info.
