Stupid Bloody ISP!!

Hi guys,

I've had to post the Quit List via google this week because for some
reason I cannot connect to my news server....stupid ISP! Sorry if
they have come through a bit jumbled up.

I'll have to wait until my news server is back up and running before I
can catch up on the other messages in the group. I cannot bear
google.

I was wondering where you've been and have missed your posts. Having
recently had a similar problem I understand - especially your opinion
of posting through Google. I truly admire anyone who can handle that.
I hope the mess is straightened out soon.

Well, touch wood, it seems to be back up and running again.

I've missed this place but haven't really been in the right frame of mind to
post lately. Work has been a bit of a nightmare for the last few weeks and
I come home too angry and pissed off to be very supportive. But, as always,
I am here every day reading and checking in on everyone.

I think my problems with work are partly my own doing. Now that my
maternity leave is sorted out and there is an end in sight I am anxious to

Aww thanks Mike! Long story short, my manager ended a 13 year relationship
with his fiance two months ago and has been a nightmare ever since. He
comes in when he wants, goes home when he wants and disappears for hours on
end during the day. We're a small office, so when he takes off in the
afternoon I am on my own to deal with all the calls and customers. Feeling
a bit shit on and not too sure how to approach him about it. But....8 weeks
and counting until maternity leave kicks in and I can kiss the shithole
goodbye!

When your local news server craps out you can allways use
news.aioe.org. You can see more details at http://news.aioe.org/
It is a free news server that does not even require a login. Only
limitation is 25 posts per day.

Are you in the UK still? It's been a funny August in Europe and
September is well on it's way to beat August to it.

Yep I'm still in the UK. We had an incredibly odd summer...a month of
rain, followed by a month of HOT!!! and now it can't make up it's bloody
mind.
