we never really had a summer this year. Just very few days hot. I didn't
even get to swim this year. We had so much rain.

/me hopes the Winter in Ontario is better than the summer was. She wants to
go skating in Ottawa.

So that's why your the Polar Bear: you live in the arctic.
Enjoy the heat and the light while you still have it.
We've got plenty of that where I am.

yep that's why I am a Polar Bear. I love the cold. I love playing in the
snow and everyone thinks I am crazy cause I love the Winter Season.

the nature looks so much brighter after a fresh snow fall and the sun
hitting the snow. I get very seldom depressed when it's snowing outside.
Best part is this year I don't have to shiver outside and take my gloves off
so I can smoke. I can go outside when I want to not when I have to. And just
imagine putting my skates on without having a smoke in my hand. So one more
reason for me to look forward to Winter.

PolarBear
proudly announces the following:
two months, two weeks, 2 minutes and 16 seconds. 750 cigarettes not smoked,
saved $307.51 to pay for her Wii.

Summer has been over for a month now here ( NS). we only seemed to get a
couple of weeks in July then the rain began. they say we have had over 3
times the normal rainfall in August and just yesterday it poured and poured
thanks to what was left of Hanna. our leaves are changing colour already and
the cherry trees I planted with care are all dead. they drowned to death.
But at least it isn't snow! yet
Congrats on your 9 months!!

Thanks Madison, after a while your quit becomes second nature. So
I don't know about 'bigger' congrats. To me the first few months were
so much harder than adding another year to my quit these days. But thanks
very much anyway, I'm proud as can be. :-) All the best,
Robin.

Oh, wow, Mark, I didn't know you were in the Big D! That makes at least
3 of us in the DFW area, and AZ is just east of us in
Shreveport...Someone else is down south of here, but I can't remember
who (Kathleen? was it you?).

Maybe we'll have to do one of those meet-up things some day like all the
New York bunch does!

Sure, Cindy. We'll all have to have lunch or something, maybe on Lower
Greenville, or so. Let us know if you get us together.

But wait 'till the next hurricane leaves: it's headed straight for where we

Oooh, I know a GREAT burger place in Uptown that's really inexpensive
and makes a GREAT mojito! Mark and I love it. And you can get there
via DART Rail. Ian could hop on the TRE and come over, too!

Or there's also a great mediteranian restaurant on
Greenville...and...and...and.... LOL

But yeah, let's do wait on the weather to look better. LOL You guys be

TRE = Trinity Railway Express -- the commuter train from Fort Worth to
Dallas. It runs from somewhere in Fort Worth down to Union Station in
Downtown Dallas. From there, you can hop the DART to a number of fine
destinations throughout the Dallas metroplex. I love it. It's one
of the coolest ways to get around town if you have the time....

Oh yes, I had heard of this, but not by the name Trinity. I think
work was started on it not long
after I came here.
I imagine it is a much more attractive way of traveling between the two
cities, from what I'm told the traffic on the road connecting them is
terrible in rush hours.

Traffic is terrible on every road here during rush hour. LOL I try to
do all my driving at other time, and I always take the train when
possible. It's cheaper than driving, I can relax and enjoy the ride,
and I don't have to worry about parking.
