Default Thinking of you all

Dear Friends,

I am now on my third week at work, rather busy but enjoyable and most of all
I am still *SMOBER*.
The majority of people in this cast are very nice, I've worked with them
before so no stress so far.

It is interesting how the habit pangs come regularly during the day. The
place where I work requires a pass card
to go from one room to another and so on; when I go outside on a break,
lunch or at the end of the day, as soon as I reach for the card to swipe, I
get this idea that I am going to have a cigarette. Ofcourse is only a
reminder that I've done so for many years at that specific time and place
and so far this is not bothering me. I am NOT going to light one up, I
don't need to.

Hope that you are all well.

With my fondest wishes.

E

Two months, four days, 22 hours, 21 minutes and 11 seconds. 1673 cigarettes
not smoked, saving £455.97. Life saved: 5 days, 19 hours, 25 minutes.

Thanks for checking in Eleonora!! Glad to see such great posts from you.
You are noticing that the "cravings" are more of an intellectual crave
instead of a physical one, now. Good for you, honey!!

hugs and kisses

Lovely meter, Eleanora! Glad your job is going well. I must have
missed something (I'm afraid I don't read every post). What is it
that you do?

Eleonora! I am always glad to see you posting. You definitely sound
that you are owning your quit and that what you are experiencing is
merely triggers which you are successfully brushing aside. Keep on
keeping on and know that the longer you are smober the better it gets!

Now, I do not believe you posted your M&Ms, so sit back and enjoy as
the Original Yodeling Gnomes are heading your way to help you
celebrate this wonderful milestone!

I do much the same thing. Take a deep breath and say to myself,
"Doesn't that feel good? THAT'S why we don't smoke anymore."

I'm glad you're doing so well Eleonora. The little habit-man in your
head WILL shut up. I promise.

Thank you eleonora for a wonderful post. The triggers are starting to
fade for me but I do occasionally feel them. You are doing great!
