| | | Time off work...I'm so HAPPY! :) Good Morning Everyone!
I'm way happy today. I have 5 days off in a row...from a very VERY
stressful job (which I normally don't talk about here)...SO...I'm
going to be a MOM & WIFE for the next 5 days and ENJOY it!!!
I'm not going to rush around like a lunatic. I am going to leisurely
do domestic things...clean my house, do laundry, organize some
bookshelves...go shopping, visiting, etc. Since I don't have any big
plans...just going to enjoy being HOME with my family.
I'm excited about staying home...how boring is THAT? I'm excited
about doing laundry...hahaha. Shows you what kind of a life I have!
hahaha! I am excited about not having any stress for 5 days!
And...still smoke free and actually enjoying it...not fighting it. It
is going well. I'm not having any real major cravings to speak of.
Days are now going by where I hardly think of it. So...I'm relieved
about that. And pleasantly suprised
I do think I need to keep reading and posting...it keeps me grounded,
so I can start my day on a good note and in the right frame of mind.
Here it is:
One month, one week, one day, 22 hours, 10 minutes and 39 seconds. 798
cigarettes not smoked, saving $239.54. Life saved: 2 days, 18 hours,
30 minutes.

Look at those 1s!!!!! Nice meter.
Enjoy your days off - even if they do involve laundry (and,
presumably, toilet cleaning). )

Hi, PreciousKittyKat. Yes you do need to keep on reading and
posting. Whenever I feel weak or needy, whenever I sense the urge to
smoke creeping up on me, I come right back here where I know that I
will be welcome and helped to deal with the insidious addiction that
is smoking.
You, KittyKat, are in the early, most vulnerable phase of quitting.
It'is hard to quit an addiction. Ant the nicotine addiction is harder
than most. So you and I and all of us need all the help and
understanding that we can find.
There are plenty of tips and advice and individual tricks to play on
the addiction. Me? I drank gallons of ice water instead of smoking.
I snapped hundreds of rubber bands against the tender skin of my inner
wrist. Not to mention all the carrots and celery I munched.
But best of all was coming here to AS3 to gain knowledge and
understanding from the good folks here.
And we are here to help you, 24/7. There is always somebody here.
Please take advantage of us. The more we help new quitters, the
stronger we make our own quits. But that's not the only reason why we
are here. We love to spread the word that it can be done. Most of us
have been through the dark hours of breaking this insidious
addiction. We know all the tricks. We know how easy it is to just
give in.
But we don't just give in. Because we have put it all behind us.
Keep posting. It really does work.
