On TV they have a weather channel - 24 hours of weather. We had something
like that when I grew up. We called it a window.

Well, a window helps if you are on the first or second floor but when
you are in an apartment building and can't see the street,it's
impossible to tell what's going on outside weatherwise much of the
time.

Hey, Mike, I have windows and I can see the street and the rooftops
below them. And I still like to get the weather reports. Especially
the forecasts.

My son and his GF left about an hour ago and I am recovering from
almost a full week of their Thanksgiving visit to NYC. They live in
Chicago.

I am so proud of you for keeping up your quit. You are really making
progress. Nice going.

Thanks, Joyce! I'm only on the third floor so I can't see any
rooftops to see if it's raining or not so I either have to go to the
lobby and look out the windows there or use the weather channel...
LOL Glad that you had a good visit with your son and his GF and I
know you are excited about the upcoming wedding.

I am SOOOO glad to be here, Joyce. I have few regrets in my life but
one I am certain of is blowing the quit I started when you did back in
'97. Still, I am glad that I finally came out of the woods and into
the light!

AZ, I *already* live on the East Side, so I don't know about this
place. <G> Truthfully, I'm about 90% sure where the building is from
the description as well as the angle of the Empire State Building.
Living here I have a pretty good sense of where most pix are taken
from.
