| | | Trying to lose weight
As of today I am getting serious with my weight. It was bad while I
was a smoker and now it only got worse.
So I've been playing around with a piece of software that sort of does
the calorie accounting: you enter what you eat and it adds up the
calories. Nothing fancy but it's very exciting for me who has never
taken any sort of care for my diet whatsoever.
Before this gets too long, here is the important thing, the thing asks
what kind and how much of exercise did you get a particular day.
So.
It is 1 PM and God knows I had no chance to go biking & climbing trees
today.
But...
My SO and me were, ahem, very very kind to each other this morning.
So I said to myself, I *have to* enter this; I'm positive sex is at
least as good as walking, if not better.
But the program has no sexual activities listed at all!
Google is my friend!
What I found I MUST share with you. It's priceless as a scientific
measure of unscientific deeds :-) http://tinyurl.com/67nc3
Have a nice rest of the day :-)

Now that is funny Tiho. obviously a lot of very detailed research went
into that study. If only one could get on to programs like that eh.
Alas I feel some days that I have only one good shag left in me and
I'm sure that holds me together so I'm gonna use it wisely

Just another thought I read once that energy expended during sex was
equivalent to a 3 mile walk, in years gone past I used to wink at my
DW and say "fancy a walk" |

It's possible that exercise equipment manufacturers may need to take
into account the calories burned from sex -- exercise equipment for
couples.
For instance, the tandem bike could have the seats positioned a bit
closer and at a slightly tilted angle .... just a thought ....

ROFL..
That was a good one.
I have a program called dietpower.
from 135 to 190 calories depending on effort expended...
That list looks like a lot more fun though.

LOL! That's the sweetest calorie listing I've ever seen...
If I ever diet I decided years ago I'll do "The Hacker's Diet: How
to lose weight and hair through stress and poor nutrition": http://www.fourmilab.ch/hackdiet/www/hackdiet.html
The title of a diet is *vital* IMO. :-) | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
