| | | Under the Doctor Well, I had my second visit to my primary physican since I got smober
and he was thrilled that I'm within a day of 8M. I told him more
about AS3 as I think the more folks know the good work that goes on
here the better. I'm very thrilled to report that in my vitals my BP
was normal and my pulse strong & steady. My cholesterol has continued
to improve and I'm in the normal limits for my Bad Cholesterol. I'm
still working on the good one, but the numbers improved greatly and
I'm sure it's due to the smobriety.

Good for you, Mike. I am so very proud of you. Both for your good
health report and for your 8 months. I don't have any yodeling gnomes
or bass drum thumping rabbits, but if I could sing, I would sing for
you, something like Michael Row The Boat Ashore, Hallelujah. I used
to sing that to my boys when they were little. They didn't know I
couldn't sing a note.
Big hugs for you, Joyce |

Mike CONGRATULATIONS, it only gets better. In December I will be quit
for 2 years. Before this quit I had quit, off and on since 2001.....it
took time but I finally reached this final and perminant quit! What
I'm trying to say is when I quit smoking everything about my health
improved. Before quitting I had been diagnosed with COPD and CAD at
age 45. There was no reversing the damage but fortunately when I quit
it did not get worse. Hold to what you have, be proud but always
alert.
Sincerely,
James aka Bubba |

flax seed you find in your grocery store and can add to muffins,
cereal, salad, etc it is better to crush them first ( a coffee grinder works
great) it looks just like little brown seeds or mouse poop. some really good
cooked cereal already has it added
out of curiouslity I am wondering about your and everyones supplements (
just noisy I guess)
besides my prescribed meds I take aspirin
muilti vitamin
a complex b
b-12
calcium
fish oil ( haibut right now) vitamin E
and I have kelp which I haven't taken in a year
I am going to add vitaimn D if i ever remember to pick some up maybe I need
something to help me remember as well hahaha.

Try replacing that bagel with some oatmeal topped with a dash of
cinammon. Have the cream cheese on the side, and get an ounce or two of
nuts or all natural peanut butter. Walnuts and creamcheese? I don't know.
Watch your nut serving size, lots of calories but they are soooo good for
you, natural, not toasted! Lynn gave a great idea, flax is just a seed,
like sesame or something, grind it up and get one of those parmesan
shakers, and sprinkle it on everything. I get sick of pills too, just
forget them all the time and they are too big to swallow without choking.
Remember to keep your heat down to the acceptable level for your wok oils
as at certain temps the good qualities disappear. I hope to hear about
your next doctor visit!
