| | | Vivid dreams, anyone? Lets start by saying, I'm not using NRT. The Dr knew to little about
chantrix to risk the user with my current medication.
Anyhow, during my 2nd smober night, I dreamt.. Not *about* smoking but
very much related to smoking.. I dreamt my gums were oozing with tar
and nicotine, and all my teeth came loose. I could spit them out, one
by one. Instead of bleeding, more tar and nicotine oozed out of the
wounds. It was (as you can imagine <VBG>) *DISGUSTING*!!
But you know what I thought in that dream? "If this it what it takes,
then so be it. Any dentist can replace the lost teeth!"

| | | Re: Vivid dreams, anyone? i have heard about some wild dreams associated with quitting smoking but
then if something is playing on our mind the chances are that it will come
out in some weird way in our dreams. i had a reoccurring dream (nightmare)
for a while about loosing all my teeth and instead of having roots i had
wooden pegs that the teeth were attached to but they kept falling out. shit,
even thinking about it now brings it all back.
sounds like you've got yourself a nasty one there and i guess it's down to
fears that you have sorting themselves out while you sleep. on the bright
side, that kind of dream doesn't exactly romanticise smoking does it!
be good

EWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Smoking dreams are common even without NRT. The few I've had usually
involve me smoking and then feeling guilty. Oddly enough when I smoke
in these dreams it's never my fault - it's like sleep smoking wherein
I wake up *in my dream* and know that I smoked while asleep.

Meeee, tooooooo. Except a lot of my smoking dreams have been where I
found myself holding a cigarette (not smoking it), and trying to figure
out how to ditch it or keep from getting caught with it because I don't
want anyone to even THINK I've been smoking. And I feel so guilty just
having that cigarette in my hand, even though it's not mine and/or I
don't want to smoke it.
But even beyond cigarette/smoking dreams, ALL of my dreams seem to be
more vivid and strange now -- as though they weren't vivid and strange
to begin with....
