In my opinion, the cravings come from our lizard brain. You know, that
irrational, subconscious brainstem type thingie that compels bullies to
bully, serial killers to kill, karaoke singers to sing.
I don't know where they come from, but I do know they go away if, and ONLY
if, you don't indulge them.
You are doing great, Carmen. Hang tough, don't puff. All you have to do is
not put a cigarette in your mouth. And then reward yourself. In fact,
reward yourself DOUBLE for all you've been through in the past month without
smoking!
