The bar is doing great! No change at all in the revenues, but I will say we
have to shovel up butts every morning as they are piled outside both doors.
Ughhh. Why can't they toss em in the buckets? Idiots.

Cat! I am thrilled to read that your bar's revenue has not been
affected by the smoking ban in Illinois. While it is becoming more
and more common in more places, still people are very local in most of
their day to day events and a change like that can be rough at first.
Could I be guessing that you have been talking of your own smobriety
for some time with some of your partrons so that you already attract
more of a non-smoking crowd in the first place? Still, I can totally
appreciate the butts at the door. When my parents own their tavern,
my job as a kid was keeping the parking lot cleaned up which was a
total b-i-t-c-h! Folk toss all sorts of crap out thinking that 'it's
ok, somebody else can take care of it!'

Much, MUCH better than the jackal-headed pirate who took my sandwiches, and
WAAAYYY better than my talking lunchbox that kept shouting obscenities on
the bus until the driver made me get off in the middle of the swamp. But,
dreams are like that, you know? Plus, you *hugged* me. You were warm and
laughing, and I was pretty happy about it, as I recall. You didn't run,
shrieking, from the scene. I'd call it a good one, all in all.
