Default How to keep a check on Blood Pressure?

I take a lot of care of my health but was six months ago I was diagnosed with high blood pressure. I have been using Medisana Automatic Wrist Blood Pressure Monitor to keep a regular check on my blood pressure. It is very easy to set up and operate and really useful. I wanted to know if there is any kind of diet that I should follow?

take the ones which has low salt, low fat and cholesterol, have high vitamins and should have a good amount of magnesium and potassium in it. This does not mean that you should stop eating or anything like that. What you should do is cook in a different way, like eat sandwiches other than eating burgers; eat baked potatoes if you want to eat fries.Try to eat home cooked foods as much as you can.Try to eat home cooked foods as much as you can.you can also take Raisins, figs, seeds, nuts, tomatoes, potatoes, apricot, bananas and dried fruits.

hello..blood pressure can be controlled by having proper check on our diet....good diet, yoga, regular exercise and offcourse medication at fixed time preferably at night....garlic is regarded as one of the most effective home remedy in lowering the blood pressure...walking barefoot on green grass for 15-20 minutes daily also improves blood circulation and helps to maintain the blood pressure at normal...avoid spicy, oily and salty food, drink water kept in copper vessel.....
take care ..
thank you

If you have hypertension, it's essential to check your blood pressure regularly. Sorry to say, though, many people have "lab coat syndrome,(AKA "white coat syndrome) meaning that their blood pressure skyrockets when approached by a medical professional tiring a dreaded stethoscope. Taking readings at home (and/or at work) will allow you to estimate your average blood pressure measurements in day-to-day, real-life situations.

I think more than diet you need to concentrate on your regular exercise and activities. I am also a BP patient and for me the advice from my trainer was to do early exercise and to have some refreshment. I am using Ojas for this and it is a collection of some spiritual music. It is really good for some leisure time and try it.

Blood pressure is an important and normal part of the mode the body works. Blood that is pumped around the body carries oxygen and essential nutrients. Because of the pumping action of the heart and the size and flexibility of the arteries that carry blood, the blood is beneath pressure. This is the pressure we measure and if it is not in check, we may experience severe health problems. I have also heard about “caregiver ca” which provides home health care agency California, California in home health care agency, elderly care Palm Springs, and home help for the elderly, CA companionship care for elderly, home care agency (Palm Springs) California

To avoid having a hypertension, you should have a regular exercise and have a balance diet - it should be on high fiber, high protein, low salt, low fat. This would help to prevent fluctuating the blood pressure.
