Risk factors of breast cancer
1. Geography
The incidence of breast cancer was significantly higher in North America and Western Europe instead of Asia and Africa. Incidence of Breast cancer in the United States is five times more than patients in Japan and Taiwan. Actually, it is maybe more related to environmental factors rather than geographic factors due to an increased incidence of breast cancer if the population of Japan is moving to America. this may be due to reproductive patterns and breastfeeding habit.
2.Genetic Factor
50-10% of women affected by breast cancer associated with hereditary mutations. Women are estimated to have a genetic factor is if they had cancer at the age of Premenopausal, has bilateral breast cancer, has ovarian cancer, and has family history of breast cancer. Most of the women who has this gene will mostly get breast cancer at the age of 70 years.
3. Age
Incidence of breast cancer incidence increases with age until a woman experiences menopause, there after the risk is only slightly increased
Rick Factors that can be avoided :
1. Reproductive History
Risk of breast cancer will increase in women who has early menstruation (before 12-years old) and late menopause, women who rarely pregnant and give birth, first pregnancy over 30 years-old.
2. Obesity
3. Women who using estrogen replacement therapy (Still not clear).
But it is admit there is a moderate increases incidence of breast cancer in women who use Estrogen Replacement Therapy.
4. Women who using oral contraception.
Some study admit there is only slight increases breast cancer’s incidence in women who using oral contraception, but the increases is not significant.
5. Radiation.
A woman who has history ever expose to radiation is increases breast cancer incidence than woman who doesn’t. The radiation that is caused by mammography has no effect at all on incidence of breast cancer.

Choosing not to breast feed your babies and as well as getting pregnant when you reach 30's are risk factor for breast cancer. getting pregnant at an eraly age for some time will let you have lesser possibility of having the cancer. Not that the idea is imposing early pregnancies, but being pregnant lowers a woman's total number of lifetime menstrual cycles, which may be the reason for this effect.

Simply being a woman is the main risk factor for developing breast cancer. Men can develop breast cancer, but this disease is about 100 times more common among women than men. This is likely because men have less of the female hormones estrogen and progesterone, which can promote breast cancer cell growth .
