diarrhea and vomiting 5days

i no this is in the wrong section but i cant find a general illness section.
anyway,
Ive been of alcohol for 7 days now and i drank quit a bit before that. i am alcohol dependent.
the last 5 days Ive had vomit and diarrhea, cant keep food down for more than 5-10 mins or when i sip over water i cant keep it in for my then 30 mins without getting bad diarrhoea pains, and i would then have diarrhoea but now that Ive took imodium i still get real bad pains but cant poo.
how long should i wait before going to see gp

i did take 8 10mg chlordiazepoxide over 24 hours and then i stopped is it possible withdrawal from chlordiazepoxide thats causing it,
before i took them i only had soft stools

Hi well my suggestion is not to wait since you could be extremely dehydrated and you might need an IV to rehydrate. An emergency room might do. You could also call your gp now.

Stop drinking Imodium.. Imodium will only stop your diarrhea and it will not helps you to eliminate the toxins on your body. Here's my suggestion.. eat BRAT meaning Bread, Rice Am, apple and Toast. Drink Gatorade.
