Mutlivitamins with enteric and PVP coating
Hi a little help/opinions would be great,
I've been on a health bender since January, gym, biking, running, good healthy diet, not dieting, that sort of thing.
So I've been looking into what my diet lacks/what should be in my diet to naturally protect against diseases, and supplementing my diets by taking multivitamins, cold liver oil and garlic supplements and water retention tablets so far.
But someone recently said that multivitamins don't get absorbed into the body, so I've searched for it and found that it does have some truth to it, vitamins with a enteric coating pass though the stomach and get adsorbed by the intestine, ones that don't have this coating get made ineffective by the stomach acid, hence why manufactures tell you to take them with food as to allow more to pass to the intestine.
So I've been looking into getting some TMG supplements and they advertise that they have a PVP coating.
Now searching for PVP coating on multivitamins TBH doesn't answer if it does the same thing.
So are PVP and enteric coated supplements better and does PVP coated vitamins produce the same results as enteric coated ones?
Any help would be great.
Thanks
Jay
